384pk question
Was wondering if anyone else with one of these opened the air bed that is included? I was told during the delivery inspection it could be used to make the couch into a bed, which in mine is not the case. Just wondering if everyone else got a standard queen air bed mattress or did they get one that could be used to make the couch into bed. My understanding was that one side of the mattress would be able to inflate large enough to support the mattress from the floor to couch height.

We haven't used it yet, but our included air mattress is a standalone. I though it was to be attached to the couch also.

Have you noticed in the rain that the gutter on the front by the security light drains directly on the light? I woke up in the middle of the night thinking there was water running inside the wall or inside the camper. Put a gutter extension on mine so it wouldn't hit the light any longer.

Did you outside stove work? That gas line connector is in a horrible location, mine is clogged.

Cool, so it is the wrong mattress. That's awesome news.
Security light issue was found the first trip I took in it where it rained right after buying it. I panicked thought the water was coming in the camper at 2am.

We have a 395 with a air mattress. We also sent ours back, and got the correct one for the couch.

What does the correct air mattress for a 395 look like? Is it different from a standard air mattress? Thanks

I have been told it has a baffle along one side to allow one side to lay on the couch and the other to be supported to the floor. On this model it needs to be lengthwise instead of at the foot of the mattress, like some other model campers have. This is due to the location of the island in the camper.

Wilkod, If I remember correctly, about 18 months ago, Keystone stopped installing the "bolstered" air mattress in all their RV's. They started installing the straight panel type air mattress in its place. There are a couple of old threads on here if you do a search, but if I recall correctly, there was an issue with storage of the mattress when the sofa was folded up. I think the mechanism was pinching the mattress causing it to leak. The solution was to use the flat air mattress and take the back cushions to place on the floor under the bed to support the foot of the mattress. Might be a poor way to resolve the issue, but I'm thinking that is what was reported "way back when" search for the threads, you should find answers to your questions and save you some headaches with Keystone.
