I have a 2017 F350 Dually, the Fx4 version and pull a 41 Ft Avalanche 5th wheel (16,500 lbs). Get 8-11 mpg towing....was right at 8 from Houston to Tucson, AZ into headwinds and into mountains. Truck never missed a beat.

On way from AZ to Big Bend Natl Park and back yo Houston we got around 9.2 mpg with more favorable winds.

So far, love the F350 but I have also owned Dodge Ram.. to me these are Top two 1 Ton Diesel Dually's to own for big rig. They are also top 3 that HOT Shot companies tend to use for commercial business.

Biggest worry with Ford is the Bosch CP4 fuel pump. If it goes, and they do, it's a 10K repair. Ram just quit using that fuel pump for 2021. I've been a Ford guy for 20+ years, love the build quality and function of the truck, but I had a fuel pump let loose. I'm very leery and my next truck will probably be a RAM if Ford doesn't also change before my next purchase.
