Freezing in Texas
Just bought our first RV. Keystone 25RB Passport Ultra Light from a Houston dealer. Going to freeze tonight so drained all but black tank. Had a hard time removing drain caps from right under side and plastic tube turned before I broke loose the cap. All drained tubes are exposed about 6" below under cover. Can that small part of the tube freeze and burst while I am camping with water in the lines??

You should be ok...of course depending on the temp. The under belly covering & heated RV should make up for the cold temp up to around 15 or 20F. Disconnect all hoses & use your water pump for water. The outside valves, if they freeze up will defrost in the AM. A hard sustaining freeze could be a different story. Enjoy your new RV & relax as your inside lines, fresh, gray & black tanks won't freeze !!

Freeze
I see its only going down to high 20's in your area. With the heat on in the RV, you should be fine. Welcome to the forum. Depending on how you plan to use your RV over winter months, you will need to search "threads" and make a plan to fit your need. Winterizing has VERY recently been thorougly discussed.
Mine is fully winterized. I plan on coming through west Texas late January on our way to Scottsdale for 2 months. I keep a few gallons of pink RV anti frz with us and have a feeder valve I hooked to my water pump. Took me 20 minutes to install. I can drain my hot water heater and water lines and have pink throughout in 30 minutes or less. For quick overnights traveling in sub freezing temps, we use campground facilities for bathing and use bottled water. Small quantities of hot water can be made on the stove top or micro.
Really it's all about finding your use and ensuring when that RV is "stone cold",
it is winter prepped.
Have fun and enjoy. Life is good

captderrick, Howdy;
Welcome to the Forum... make your self comfortable.....
If you plan on living in it drop down to the bottom of the list to Full timer and Snowbirds. Like Vaudeville best act comes on last...
If not, like Outbackmel said just look back thru the forums and threads and you'll see tons of solid information about winterizing...
