Sewer hose storage

OK, I know that there are a bunch of threads, however my OCD and designs take over sometimes. I needed some storage for a 15' hose and a 5' hose, so I used the small holder the RV came with and bought a 60" one at camping world. The mounts and brackets came from lowes, $20 total at lowes.

What diameter are the pipes? I've got a clear fitting that doesn't fit in my holder very well and just wonder if some are a bigger diameter than others.

3" is the standard for the black water and such. If it doesn't fit well, it's probably the little ears that grab the nubbins on the fitting. If yours has only two ears, they are notorious for leaking if not positioned exactly right. I just went through all of my hoses and caps and converted them to the fittings that have four ears. Much more secure and much less chance of a drip.
