Last trip 2014

Leave tomorrow for a week at Cook Forest. Love going to the forest in fall. Once the weekend passes we almost have the park to ourselves.

Enjoy. We are heading our tomorrow for a couple nights. This may end up being our last trip of the year.

Not sure if this was our last trip of the year. That will depend on quick success during elk season. However, last week at Poison Creek Campground in the Cascade Lake State Park, Idaho was ideal. Mid-week camping with an almost empty campground. The dogs had the beach all to themselves and spent most of their time in the water.

Sure hope there will be one more trip before we have to winterize.

Why does one have on a life jacket and the other doesn't?
I hate you all are having to say these are your last trips for the year.
I am looking forward to at least 12 more nights til thanksgiving and maybe a few more if I can talk the wife into new years at the beach.

Gus (the 12 year old Golden) floats like a cork in the water. He also takes himself out if he is getting tired. Murphy, on the other hand, is a four year old Tripawd who doesn't know when to quit. We keep him in the probably unnecessary life jacket to give him more time in the water without wearing himself out...as if that will ever happen.

I sure hope we get more trips in before the snow flies, but you never know. The weather guessers are predicting frost for sometime in the next two weeks.

Cook Forest SP sure is a popular spot this time of the year. We camp on our 100 acre wooded plot just a few miles from there. We spent last weekend there, the weather was beautiful. I hope the weather gets better for you next week.

Rich...weather was ok. We love the forest in the fall and canoeing on the Clarion River. Canoeing was good since the river was up a bit. Well, good until we got a hole in the canoe What road is your property on?

This might be our last trip. Down the Cape at Bay View. Got to be 38/39 last night but is was nice at the fire and cozy in the trailer. Beautiful day today and looks nice through tomorrow after a rainy Saturday.

Met some friends for breakfast this morning and they are going to let us camp at their farm all winter. It's about 20 miles away and electric and firewood. Tractor to plow the snow . could be a lot of fun. Their house is about 1/4 mile away but they store their camper where we will be hooking up. They have family camp in weekends all year .
