Flag pole

Does anyone know the best way to attach a flag pole to a trailer while camped?
I'm thinking of mounting a 2" receiver to my TT bumper and use one of those flag pole adapters. I have a 16 foot aluminum pole with a 1.96 inch diameter I'd like to use to display old glory on.

I'd have someone weld a vertical receiving tube/socket onto the spare tire carrier or one of the bumper mounts. It'd be cheaper than a receiver setup.
