Sprinter steps stabilization any ideas?
We have a 2011 Sprinter, it has a foldout three step at the entrance. This actually seems a little unstable. Has anyone made a mod or some kind of brace to make the steps sturdier?

I had a couple of those aluminium screw type jack stands and I threw one under my three step sprinter. My issue was people tromping on the steps, and bouncing the trailer.

I also added a BAL stabilizer jack just in front of the front axle on my 33" Sprinter, which helped tremendously...... and I also use 2 of the CW stable-step jacks on the bottom step. It completely stops the step bounce.

I had an issue on my steps when the trailer was brand new where as the stair mounting bolts that go through the floor under the door were actually pulling the floor down when putting weight on the steps. It turned out there was a cracked weld on the aluminum where the wall stud met the floor framing. The dealer repaired under warranty by re welding the stud to the sub floor frame. Much more stable now.

I have had the same issue on my 2005 sprinter. Got 2 scissor jacks fro older Toyotas from a local junk yard for 5 bucks and sway is gone!!
