Alpine 3220rl running lights problem

I've hooked up my 2022 RAM 2500 to my Alpine 3220rl and found the running lights, brake lights do not light. I've had this unit and truck for a while and it has worked in the past. Ideas? Is there a fuse in the wiring for these lights in the 5th wheel? If not, it must be the truck fuse for the green wire in the 5th wheel's 7-way plug. I'm going to check the power out next in the truck's 7-way outlet.

Very simple to troubleshoot and fix... I would first verify the trucks fuses or breakers for the trailer 7 way are good.. If YES then make sure both sides (truck and RV) plug contacts are clean.

You can QUICKLY verify the RV side of the plug by using a short piece of wire and insert it at :

Running lights and tail lights : Pin 3 to Pin 4 on RV side 7 way plug..all running
and tail lights should come on if battery is installed

Rt turn signal and brake lights : Pin 6 to pin 4 Rt turn and brake lights should come on

Lt turn signal and brake lights: Pin 5 to Pin 4 Lt turn and brake lights should come on

If the above test work on the RV side of the plug then you know the RV is good and if you have issues it will be on the truck side

** EDIT - Also if this is a 2022 Alpine you will have a "Giggy Box" instead of the typical pin box electrical square junction box for the RV side trailer wiring, Battery cutoff, etc.. Make sure the battery cutoff is ON and not OFF

My truck has three or four different trailer fuses that are marked on the fuse box and we have blown one before pulling the boat. It was a jaso fuse and once changed has not blown again. No idea why it blew.

Thanks! This is a great resource.

I was able to quickly eliminate all of the simple stuff and came down to the backup camera. When I removed it from the circuit all worked perfectly. I'm going to post again for a separate thread.
