Max water pressure

Had my water regulator set to 40psi, last night I noticed it was in the mid 40 range. Thought I read somewhere max water pressure for these rigs is 50 psi?
BTW my trailer is a FB 3971 Montana 2022 5th wheel.
TIA

be careful mentioning psi in a thread…you could easily kick off a 14 page tire discussion(argument) complete with experts…opinions ..and twenty seven 8x10 color glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back explaining what each one is ..

45 to 50psi is a safe range to run the water. You have PEX (or similar) style plumbing so higher water pressure isn't a problem for the pipes. It's the rest of the system you're trying to protect. The plastic connectors, valves, and, more importantly, the rather inexpensive (cheap) faucets are more prone to failure.

I set my adjustable regulator at 45psi and it will sometimes float closer to 50psi. You should be fine there. FWIW, for us that seems to be plenty of pressure anyway with good flow to the shower.

If you do not know what PSI to use on your water system in your camper, then simply check the label on your on-board water pump. That's all you have to do and then you'll know for sure what the SAFE max pressure is:

Here's a photo of one of my old water pumps I replaced 1 camper ago:

Now you know!

It is hilarious how so true your comment is. Almost as many pages of comments as the questions about tire capacity and tire psi, oh, and don't even mention hitch weight rating or tongue weight! Oh heck, I hope I did not kick off another one!

Maybe we better not continue this.

I always use an adjustable water pressure regulator. The one size screw on regulators usually restrict water flow but they don’t control the actual pressure.
The brass screw on pieces marked with pressure are cheap and not dependable. I go for a little extra control.

To me, there is a second important thing I have learned from these water pressure threads. And that is anytime I leave the campground I ALWAYS turn the water off at the source.

I do not want to come back to my RV to find water running out the door or from under the RV. I know, the chances of this happening are slim, but I personally do not want to take the chance.

Some years ago we used one of the Valterra adjustable regulators and it worked fine for a couple years, then discovered the pressure would drift higher than what it was set for. Ditched it for a heavy duty Watts regulator and it stays where it is set at.
