We have bought three 5vers from that dealer and will never go back to them again because of their service department's incompetence. I am busy today but will take a ride up to CW tomorrow morning.
Today is a federal holiday; President's Day I believe so not sure how that affects CW being open.

Just got back from "Cramping" World 😄 Talked with the Operations Manager. He said that everything had been approved even though Keystone didn't give em as many hours as they wanted. He said that they were swamped but, would start on it later this week or next week. We shall see 🤞

Swamped? Probably delivering new units ahead of your repairs. JMHO.

We have a unique High School Reunion thing that happens every year on a 34 acre ranch, it basically is every class from when our school opened in the mid 50's through the class of '79. It is a great time and I always see people every year that I haven't seen since high school. Well it was this past weekend. The Service Manager had agreed that if they couldn't get it done in time that I could take it out for the Reunion which I did. I have an appointment to drop it back off this AM. He said that I wouldn't lose my place in line.

Here is the latest. I went to CW two weeks ago and they told me that a few days earlier their Tech was getting ready to do the work. They had planned on removing the front cap and the slide out fixing the structural problems. When the Tech saw how Keystone wanted it done (exactly like the PDF you posted), because it was warranty work they have to do it per Keystones procedure. So they had to order the replacement Filon panel and the expansion joints. So yesterday I drove up there and the Filon had arrived earlier in the day. Hopefully they will get on it without anymore delay.

Been busy with stuff but CW got my 5er done and back to me on May 25. They said there were 7 broken welds. Had to replace the slide column and motor, works smooth now.

Hopefully no more problems. Kind of funny that Lippert will blame Keystone for spec of the frame and Keystone will continue to have to fix the problems caused by shoddy design/workmanship. Obviously cheaper to fix cracked frames than to rectify the situation that makes the frames crack.

Keystone is very proud of the fact that they themselves engineer and design the frame and give the plans to Lippert to build it. This is why Lippert points the finger at Keystone; it really isn’t their problem.

The delay in getting it done was that Keystone wanted it done the way ChuckS had posted with his PDF. So CW had to wait for the parts to start working on it because it had to be done in a enclosed bay and there was now way they would tie one up while waiting for parts. About a week after they got the parts they started working on it.
