You should go to the ford site to get your max tow rating on your truck then go from there.

I have a 2011 F250 and pull a 35 ft. Fuzion 322. Personally, I wouldn't go any bigger than what I have without a bigger truck. I'd get a dually with a bigger toy hauler. I had it weighed today but trying to figure the numbers out. The guy that came out to assist wasn't very helpful and wanted to know why I wanted it weighed in the first place. I didn't unhook the trailer but got the total weight, steer axle, drive axle and 3rd axle weight which I assume was the trailer.

bpurvis we too have a Raptor we tow it with a 2008 f350 dually power stroke with no problems. Our hitch wieghts is 3498lbs heavy but once we load the 2 harleys and the golf cart plus we have 2 30 gallon fuel tanks behind the rear axle the hitch wieghts changes alot.just my 2 cents.

Bought a 5th wheel, so had to have a new PU to tow it as our 1998 Ford Expedition would not handle it Tows our 270RKS as if it wasn't even there. And, it doubles as a ranch pickup. We get 12-16 mpg. Hope it goes as many miles and years as yours, tjl Still pristine - no scratches or dents yet!

The 172" WB makes it a bit difficult in the grocery store parking lot, but the back seat is nice for passengers. Wouldn't be without the power telescoping mirrors.

You get used to parking further away where there is more room. Walking is good exercise and you get to admire your truck longer while returning to it. Enjoy, Hank

We love to go there before the schools let out for the summer and after they start back in the fall. Not that we don't like kids but we have all year to camp so we just let the families have the spots in the summer.

Jerry
Off topic, but want to comment:

We have been scouting around for good sites to camp and the COEs have some of the best we've found. We have "flat water" kayaks, so the COEs are perfect since they are almost always situated on small lakes, great for paddling and casual fishing, and we like the "outdoorsy" atmosphere. Some have hook-ups and some don't , but if there's a dump station, we can get by for a week with our generator and on board water.

Here in Oregon, we have the same issue with crowded campsites during the summer. Fortunately, we are retired and can go out before and after the summer break crowds. Sometimes you get lucky and can find a spot mid-week during the summer. I suppose we could reserve ahead, but then we never really know when the urge to get away might hit. I guess we need to learn to commit if we want a prime site during the summer.

LOL! But you're right. We live in a small town (which means small parking lots) and there is always parking available on the street.
