It is site #30 in the Modoc COE campground about 25 miles north of August Ga. On Clark Hill Lake some people call it Strong Thurman Lake.
We love to go there before the schools let out for the summer and after they start back in the fall. Not that we don't like kids but we have all year to camp so we just let the families have the spots in the summer.

My Tow Vehicle

tjl, that's a nice looking Ford. I'm a Ford man myself and I do like the "80s and '90s models. Mine is a 2009 F250 V10 Lariat 4x4. I Got it about six months ago. I've added a Flowmaster 3" catback exhaust and a Spectre cold air/ram air intake set up. Before this one I had a 2001 F150 SuperCrew XLT 5.4 with tow package.

I use a 2004 Chevy 1/2 ton with tow package. Rated for 8100 pounds of tow. Bought new 2 us 2002 cougar 5 er 285. Pulls it great. But I may upgrade when this truck starts showing its age more.

The TV, "Thirsty girl".

2012 Ram 1500 Sport. Deep Cheery Red, crew cab, Hemi, 3.92 gears w/LSD, a few goodies, does what we need it to. Will add CAI and a tuner in the spring. We're pretty excited that BD and Diablosport have cracked the rolling encryption on the ECU!

Power-wise, its got more than enough; we sit at about 70% of capacity when loaded). When windy it could use a little more meat on its bones, and gets wagged around some. We're adding the Reese dual cam sway controllers before we tow it again.
We're also unhappy with the ride quality of the Timbren SES, so I'll try a set of Air lift 1000 in-coil air bags instead.
It's our first pickup, and we're very pleased with it.

Absolutely Beautiful truck!!! Man what a color! Best of luck with it. I would also like to recommend the Equal-i-zer with 4 point sway control. Your trailer is a couple feet longer than mine and i have no problems with sway. Even with high winds if the trailer gets hit in the side with a big gust i get no sway if anything the truck and trailer will get a push but everything stays in line. Best of luck with the new trailer and truck!! Kevin

Not the best picture of the tow vehicle, but here is a shot of the F350 hitched to the new Fuzion for the very first time. We were at the dump station in the dealer's lot trying everything out.

I have the two point and love it. I don't get any say, but with a long wheel base 3/4 ton, I would expect very little with the 2 way. Does the 4 way help with porposing?

Thanks very much for the suggestion, but I already forked out $700 for the Reese hitch which will accept the dual cams... I'm sort of committed ;-)
Perhaps we could have a done a little more research beforehand, but never having towed before, there is only so much available up here and Reese seemed like a premium brand.
Thanks again; I just love this community!
