Where is the fresh water tank drain on the Alpine 3500RE?

Turbopilot51,

I don't know how to add a link on here, but if you do a search on the forum and type in ( fw drain issue ) and look for a post by DocData757 a few lines down, there is a good picture of the drain which might help. They mention it being on left side of trailer in front of tires.

Hope this helps.

There should be three FW drains.

One will be located under your fresh water tank.

The other two will likely be located near to the center of the trailer on the street side. They are the hot and cold low point drains.

As already stated, there is already another post with good pics of the drains, but basically they should be plastic pipes sticking out of the under belly with caps on them.

Edit: Here is a pic of the low point drains. The fresh water tank drain should look just like this, but there will only be one pipe and cap instead of two.

This has been discussed in detail several times in the last few months as everyone was getting ready to winterize their trailers. I would urge you to read over these threads because the answers to many, many questions are already there ready for you to find and read 24/7.

Found it. Located just beside the front wheel on the driver's side. 1/2" pipe cap.
