Kitchen Faucet

On my 24RDS cougar half ton the kitchen faucet barely drips when turned on. When I pull down the sprayer lots of water comes out. Is this by design or do I have a kink or something in the line?
Thanks

Sure sounds like a kink to me. Look under the sink and you'll see the line and the counter weight on it. You may end up re routing the sprayer line.

You have an aerator that screws up into the end of the faucet that has collected crud. Unscrew/clean and most likely all will be good. Take note of how the pieces were unassembled and reassembled the same way.

The diverter valve may be stuck.

Had exactly this issue with my home faucet. My bet is that it's almost certainly a kink issue. We "fixed" ours by installing a bucket of the right height upside-down under the hose.

I agree, the counter weight that draws the hose back down, may need to be moved up the hose a bit.

The flow from our kitchen faucet has been poor, at best, since we bought the unit.

I think there is some kind of major flow restrictor on it, none of the other faucets seem to have the same issue.

I have seriously considered replacing it.

Is this a recent development for yours?

faucet solution

It turned out to be a kink right below the weight on the hose. I moved the weight up a few inches and all is better.
Thanks for the help.
