Exclamation 4 ON/OFF Switches By Door

Hey Everyone,

I am a new Keystone Owner and this is my first ever Camper. I have a 2004 Keystone 21RS Outback and need help to identify what the 4 ON/OFF Switches Located on the left hand side above your head when you walk in do. I have figured out two of the four (Amber light outside by the door and the interior lights). The other two I can not figure out what they do, I do have two additional lights outside that are larger white lights and need to replace a bulb in those this weekend so maybe they go to those? I purchased this from an elderly gentleman who could not remember what they did but I have been labeling things as I go so there will never be any confusion again.

but any help is appreciated.

Thank You,

kevin

One may be a rocker switch for an awning if your rig is so equipped.

On my 2002 Cougar, I have four light switches just inside the door. One is for cabin lights, one is for the orange light just outside the door and one is for the front large round white light and one is for the large round white light on the back of the trailer.

When you take those 8" scare lights apart, be very careful that you don't tear the gasket between the lens and the light base. If you do, then either replace the gasket (hard to find) or make one from some gasket material that you can buy at any hardware store. I would recommend NOT to use silicone to "take the short cut". If you do, you'll have a heck of a time ever getting back into the light and will probably have to break the lens to change the bulb "next time"...

Welcome to the group from Southeastern Connecticut

When you put the lenses back on, check that the weep holes are at the bottom of the lenses.

Good luck,

I would also suggest after you buy some OE type lights to make sure what switches do what to then buy LED replacements for them to hopefully minimize having to get back inside the lights.

Good idea, but I'd verify that the light fixtures actually work before spending money for LED's that might not fit the sockets in a replacement fixture.
