Laredo 298srl

Hi all , i,m thinking of buying a used 2017 laredo 298srl and was wondering how well will it match up to my 2017 ford f250 4x4 extended cab , 6-9 box , 3.73 gears , 6.2 gas , payload 3370. Will it sit nose high or will it be close to level . Also does anyone on hear have any insite on this model . I,m kind of leary on the cable it uses to move the slides in and out . Any input would be much appreciated .

A little more info might help. What's the numbers from payload sticker on the truck door? What year truck and what engine ?

Weight wise I think you will be fine with a 3370 payload. The engine/tranny combo should be OK as well. The engine will work a little in the hills but that's what a gas engine does.

I've never had any issues with cable slides. I've heard of folks having issue but not seen any. I've also talked to folks that have had terrible problems with Schwintek and seen others with hydraulic ram issues. I guess there's a possibility of problems with any of them. I don't worry about the cable slide operation nearly as much as I do about the Darco covering the bottom and wear bar.
