Here are a couple stock pictures of the hill.

The Foxwoods Resort * Casino is located at Mashantucket, CT.
There is a large RV parking area in one of the casino parking lots and they provide free van service to and from the casino. However, when we were last there it was strictly dry camping so we stayed down the road at the Odetah CG at Bozarah, CT.
Been through there in a SRW truck. Pucker factor was off the charts. I’d have to measure my dually to see if it would fit. Great pic
We did it in 2007 in our 2001.5 RAM 2500 truck more clearance that this one in the Redwoods in California in 2006, on that same trip we did the Zion NP tunnels with our 29' 5th wheel to get to Bryce Canyon NP. Chris

It would fit. We saw a tour bus go through. Evidently he'd been there before as the bus had the "scars" to prove it

I think the little voices in my head have started a chat group.
A lot of our full time traveling was done on rural, state and US highways. For the most part they are not as intensive or nerve racking. For instance; on this trip north from Florida to the Michigan Up State we decided to go right up the middle of Indiana and Michigan.
These pictures were taken on the flat as a flounder, straight as an arrow Indiana highway 3. It's a great rural road with ample pull-offs and great pavement. Traveling along at a comfortable 55 MPH the views can be watched without much interface from traffic. Very relaxing and even found an inland Portland.

Cool photo for sure! We gave it a go in 2018.

Did you get a picture of that monument behind the trailer?
Well now you made me go back through my photos. This was taken June 23, 2014. We had spent a few days in Gillette, WY visiting friends. I believe it was on Hwy 28. Now my brain hurts, LoL

If you’ve traveled through SC on I-85 in the day time you’ve probably seen this iconic Peach. It’s also mentioned frequently in the TV series “House of Cards”.
I seen where the op posted the same drive through tree . 2016 September a big storm push us to the east and 3 months latter that drive through tree was knocked over by wind .

Did you also go to Sinks Canyon? It’s fun to see the river disappear underground and come back up a ways down the road, and used to be fun to feed the huge trout that can’t go farther upstream. It’s also outside Lander a little ways. Tent camping in the Shoshone National Forest was a blast in college too, except for the chipmunk who insisted on sitting IN my bag of Doritos and eating them while we set up the tent...

These pictures were taken from I-5 on the northern side of the Grape Vine. They show the plumbing used to get the mighty California Aqueduct water over the mountains and into LA County.
