I also agree. Hand pack may be more work but it definitely is the best IMHO. When you do your hand pack pay close attention not to tighten the axle nut to tight!! Happy trails.

When I bought my 5er 2008 used, I greased with the EZ lube. The next year I decided to pull and check the brakes. All the linings were grease soaked from failed seals. I replaced the seals and bearings and hand packed also new loaded backing plates upgraded to self adjusters. I use a torque wrench to check all lug nuts too as my impact WILL over torque the wheels. The next year I pulled the wheels to inspect the hubs and found lose backing plates. removing the hubs revealed all the retaining nuts but one on two plates were gone. Replaced and used locktite, so far so good. The point is visual inspection should never be forgone to save some time. I have also replaced shackles with heavy greased pins and new more ride units( found welds cracking on the originals).
