Is this Legal in All 50 States…Did I Break The Label Law?

Hello All…
Are You a Sticker Picker?
If you notice in the picture below the Warning Stickers on my Stove Hood Vent…I removed them all.
How about you do you remove the Stickers from your RV, or do you leave them?

What about Dealer Advertisement Stickers by the Door and on the Back of You RV?
Perhaps Your Dealer pays you to Advertise for them such as a free wash job if you stop by?
I wonder can you order an RV with no decals or Manufacturer logos applied?

Thanks for Reading

K.C.

I've got a couple of labels that are stuck onto the wallpaper in the trailer. I tried removing them and they were going to start tearing the wallpaper, so I stopped. That is just totally ridiculous to do.

Uh huh, just as soon as we get those stickers off the sun visors in our pickups we can start with the RV's.

Yep - took them all off of the stove hood. Took the dealer stickers off the rear and near the door. My favorite sticker is the "EXIT" sticker over the only door in the camper. Afraid to remove it (wallpaper). DW covered it with a spray of artificial flowers.

I started with the "DO NOT REMOVE UNDER PENALTY OF LAW" sticker on my mattress, sofa, pillows and bedspread. I'm still working on all the "UL APPROVED" metallic bands on every extension cord. Once I get all of them removed, my next goal is the EXIT sticker on the wall over the door in my RV. I noticed all the stickers on my range hood, but none of them have the "DO NOT REMOVE" labels, so it's just no challenge or priority to get them removed...

I'm leaving the air bag and seatbelt warnings on my sun visor, gotta have something to distract my driving when I'm not sending or receiving a text on my smartphone......

Welcome to the world of manufacturing regulations. It costs "How many billions" of dollars to keep the warning label print companies in business?????

ADDED: At least Jockey and Hanes stopped sewing a label in the back of all my T-shirts and shorts..... It's harder to get dressed with a 50/50 chance of having the fly in the back or the shirt pocket in the back, but somehow, I'll manage.....

OH MY ... these stickers are a running joke in my family. I could go on and on, but I won't.

When I rarely buy a vehicle from a dealer I always tell them if they attach any advertising on the vehicle I won't buy it.

A heat gun helps when removing stickers.

I love all the stickers!! It's like free decoration and so entertaining to look at. Shoot, we just take all those free ones we get in the mail and stick them up to.....sort of like Christmas all the time in the RV!!

The warning labels are to protect the really stupid, if they stop putting them on, maybe the problem would work it self out.

I will say for the mattress if you remove the tag you will at least want to keep the tag with the mattress warranty information. If you ever have a problem it is your very first thing needed. Many mattresses today (not the junk installed in RV's) have long non-prorated warranties.

Surprisingly, while there is an exit sign, there is no ENTRANCE sign. Looks like a missed opportunity to me.

I think there's a designer out there for the adhesive for those stickers that delights in tormenting OCD folk ... ALL of my stickers have loosened themselves on one end, while the other end remains VERY firmly affixed to the wallpaper ... so, do I continue to press the loose ends back on, or risk tearing the wallpaper at the other end?

What I would like is a sticker with instructions on how to unlock and open the door. I have had more than one person not be able to figure this out.

I have also had someone not be able to figure out how to make water come out of the shower.

My exit sticker above the main door fell off by itself. I saved it and stuck it on the tiny kitchen window. I'm sure I'm breaking some kind f law.

Smoke alarm stickers are the worst. Can't take them off prior to delivery, but they won't stay flat long enough to finish the walk through. I've learned how to sweep my hand across it while I show the location of it. Fivers are impossible with the high ceiling.

Last fall I took the mattress sticker off. I'm currently serving 3 years, they let us have laptops in jail now!
