Hello I am a new member and own a 2020 Cougar 30rls with furnace issues I believe are due to the in-command system. Furnace runs 3 min and shuts off. Had high limit replaced but no luck.

If the furnace is running for 3 min then it's not the In command. Do you hear the clicking of the ignightor? Do you have gas? rturn on all the stove top burners to check. They should all have nice blue flames.

hello, the furnace ignites and runs for 30 seconds then shuts down. dealer said it was the high limit and changed it. The sail switch is working properly otherwise it would not ignite. I set the temp to 70, watch the the display on incommand and when it hits 68, furnace ignites, then 30 seconds after furnace ignites the display read 70 and shuts off furnace as it is satisfied. This keeps happening every 3-5 min and is very annoying in the evening when trying to sleep. Now I am also worried that the ignitor will wear prematurely.

Could be your thermostat sensor on the wall. Try turning it up to 80 and see if it runs for more than that

Hello and welcome to the forum!

I agree with Jason1, advance the temperature to 80 and see what happens.

Enjoy your new Cougar, and travel safe!

I was having that very same issue. I thought it was the flame sensor or possibly the distance of the igniter to the screen. Turns out it was a faulty propane regulator (not enough, or inconsistent PSI for the high demand of the furnace even though every other propane device worked just fine). Mine had the OEM Fairview reg, which turns out to have many failures. I changed it out for a Marshall Excelsior reg and it's work perfectly since.
