My first guess would be to see if it rotates, or look for a small set screw along the very top of the base. I've had some lights like that. Of course it will be in the least convenient location to get a screwdriver to!

Thanks, no set screws. It probably turns but I can’t get it to move. I’m going to get some gloves with grip and give it a try.

My guess is that the entire fixture (chrome and glass/plastic) turn. Have you tried to push up (toward the ceiling) while turning the chrome part of the light fixture? It may have "locking tabs" that won't unlock with just counter clockwise twisting.

I gave it the push and turn still nothing. My hands keep slipping , with some grip gloves I believe I’ll have better luck. Thx

Good Luck !!! Don't twist too hard, you may find that it's held in place with only 2 or 3 screws through the 1/8" luan ceiling panel !!! Of course, then you'll have it off the ceiling and it'll be easier to see how it comes apart

I'm guessing that maybe the lens turns, threads or a bayonet connection.

If the lens is plastic, not glass, sometimes the answer is to squeak a plastic spudger between the lens and the ring and pry gently -- sometimes it's held in with snap tabs.
