swapping manual jack for electric
want to put an electric jack on my trailer but i have maybe half an inch behind the manual jack before i run into the propane covers
looks like the cover can be pushed back or in a little, is that what everyone is doing when they put on electric
seems most electric have a few inches of housing at the back
did some google searches on this being an issue and found nothing

If your propane cover interferes, you can easily move the propane tray back on the tongue for clearance.

i can easily pay my trailer repair guy to move it/weld it lol
we discussed that today
just seemed crazy keystone would not have left enough clearance for that, am actually very surprised it did not come with an electric jack...
hoping i wont have to do that but if that is what everyone else did guess i will...

The tray should be secured using self tapping screws. I've had lots of success re using them. Manual vs. electric from factory? May have been an option that the dealer didn't order.

Had the same problem with my previous camper. Ended up using Harbor Freight electric jack which surprisingly worked well and doesn't need a lot of space behind it.
Current TT has an Atwood but I am on a business trip and can't measure that for you. I can say my tanks give me more clearance but that's probably because they are mounted an inch or so further back.

Can you just mount the jack with the motor rotated 90° so it is parallel to the propane tank cover? I have seen a few trailers in the campground with that setup. I know it is not traditional but it might work.

That is also done a lot to gain clearance for opening your tailgate when hooked up. This has been a public service announcement....

I installed a Bighorn jack on my TT. No problem with clearance. Can pass an open hand between jack and propane cover.

I did this on mine to be able to lower the tailgate. You will need to drill a few holes in the electric jack. I found that the Husky has some pretty strong metal (broke a 1/2" drill bit).

Another Jack that may work is the Barker. The motor head does not take a lot of distance behind the Jack cylinder.

I'd tell ya what was on my 24' Bullet, but i have no idea. All i know is that when i got onto the lot to pick it up, it had manual. I cranked on it one revolution - then as soon as i saw the service tech, I told him to quote me out an electric, and put it on. They made it fit.

Just took the propane cover off etc. and The tank holder does bolt down , need to figure out adding the second battery and how far I can move them back
The cover is flexible and I do think I could jam one up against it, I flipped it around and it seems a little more pushed in on this other side
