Battery Box or Tray ?? Opinions?

We have a new Fuzion 412 and the battery is just sitting on a shelf inside a compartment. I think it needs to be mounted as the sliding around will eventually break the wires. I was thinking of either mounting a battery box or just a tray with clamps probably 2 as the space is pretty big. SO whats better box or mount??? Thanks

We put two 6 volt deep cycle "golf cart" batteries in our Fuzion 360. There would be no room to put them in boxes. After the batteries were in the compartment, there was a 3 1/2 inch gap on the door side of the tray. Cut a 2x4 to fit the length of the tray. All is good. Very little room for them to move fore and aft.
You may be able to put group 24 12v batts in boxes. But no lids and may need to cut the molded handles off the boxes to fit. If you run one battery, you may be able to use a complete box and a 24 or 27 battery and figure a way to strap it.
