We did it.

Literally minutes ago we bought a Keystone Cougar 364BHL. Now the wait begins for the factory to build it and the shipper to ship it.

You can stop holding on now.

Thanks to everyone that welcomed me here. This is probably the last Camper we will buy because of age and health. It is however better than leaving cash in a will.

At almost 40' and 14000 lbs gross weight the pin weight will be about 3200 lbs. What is the payload of that Platinum? They usually are one of the highest tier pickups with the lowest payloads. You may be looking for a one ton or even a dually in the near future to keep your passengers and others on the road safe. Payload is on a yellow/white placard in the driver door frame.

Mark, George was correct when he said it would probably be wise to take a serious look at that yellow sticker considering you're driving an F250 with a diesel. 3/4 tons are notorious for having an over abundance of power and an 'under abundance' of load capacity.

Hold on!

I have a 3/4 ton diesel and I would never attempt to tow a trailer that heavy. You will be grossly overloaded. Did the dealer discuss tow vehicle with you?

For all you that were worried about me towing my new camper because of weight, worry no more. Today I pulled the trigger on a 2021 Ford F-450 King Ranch Dually. I trust it will pull my new camper well. No worries, be happy.
