All I did today was drive up and down Blood Mountain in the Blue Ridge mountains...twice.
At least we were able to stop by the Cabbage Patch Hotel-thingy. 20 minutes after dropping $55 on 2 stuffed animals, we discovered the local community had 50 churches, 20 gas stations, and a single restaurant called "Roadkill BBQ."
I kid you not. We waited another 30 minutes to find something a bit better for lunch. ...
Easily top 5 worst trips home. On the good side, the E4 continues to be fantastic.

That adds convenience but if you camp in freezing temps those lines can freeze.

Over the last week, I've tried to make a couple changes, one to my shower, and one to the wardrobe in the bedroom.
First, the shower. I had heard about and listened to all the hype about the Oxygenics (26488 RV) shower head so I ordered one. It came in and I was all excited to install and try it out. Boy, was I bummed. I hooked up city water, set the pressure regulator at my usual 50 PSI. I couldn't believe it. The flow and spray pattern were worse than field showers I used when deployed in the military. I called the manufacturer and they apologized, said it certainly shouldn't be as weak as what I had ( I sent them a short video clip) and sent me a replacement shower head. 2 days later I had the replacement in hand, installed it and repeated the test. Same result. I had a Stone Stream shower identical to the one I have in my home bathroom shower and I installed it. Good flow, although not quite as much as I have in the house but decent, good spray pattern, so that one is staying in the trailer and the Oxygenics is being returned to Amazon.
Second was my wardrobe. These are nearly useless as anything I try to hang up in there drags on the bottom of the cabinet. I tried just putting things in there but it is really messy and not the easiest to find stuff in there. I found this set of folding, stackable wardrobe organizers.
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08BZMKF...roduct_details
I received them last night and went out and put them in right away. All 4 fit, although the top one is snug against the back wall of the cabinet. As they are about 18 inches deep, there is about a foot of unused space behind the bottom tray, but since the back wall of the cabinet follows the slope of the front cap, that space quickly is reduced to nothing by the time you get to the top. I will say, there is nothing that lets these slide out to make them easier to load or unload, but it definitely make the space more useable. My wife came out looked at them in my closet and asked, "Where's mine?" They're on order now. Sorry for the sideways pic, I don't know how to fix it.

I just replaced a broken slide arm on our large curb side slide. A number of gear teeth were broken and the slide would lock up crooked. This took a little over two hours and only lost a little blood The old slide arms are for the 18 tooth gear, but I installed the arm with teeth for the 15 tooth gear and installed a new gear pack. This works because the gear diameters are the same.

I raised my BW companion hitch up to create a little more gap between bed rails and camper. While I had the torque wrench out my wife said check the camper lug nuts. Most were tight. One was so loose I could turn it by hand! Definitely going to check lugs more often for safety.

I finally got around to pulling all 6 wheels and hubs to do a bearing repack. Since I had no idea what grease was in there from the factory, I did a thorough cleaning of all 12 bearings, then used brakleen to clean them. Checked all the brakes and shoes, and new bearing seals and switched it over to Red N Tacky grease. While I was on a roll, I greased all the wet bolts in the suspension components. I'm WORN out......oh, and of course torqued all the lug nuts, ....now my shoulders and hands are sore.

Not trying to make more work for you, but you might have checked the u-bolt nuts for torque while you were under there. Should be torqued while the trailer is fully on the ground so the springs are fully loaded. Torque for the nuts on 1/2" u-bolts should be between 45 to 70 ft lbs. A Dexter engineer years ago at a rally said the target torque should be closer to 70 ft lbs.

Inspected the roof and applied a bunch of Alpha Systems self leveling sealant (TPO roof).

Thanks for the tip......I was thinking about doing that, but decided....on another day. I need to rest up a bit and do a couple of the "easy" things on my list tomorrow. Being retired offers me a lot more flexibility on when, how, and and sometimes "if"....I'm going to do a job.

Well, under the trailer I went....again.....torque wrench in hand. There are two u-bolts per side of each axle...so 12 u-bolts and 24 nuts. I set the torque wrench to 65 ft lbs and of the 24 that I check, there were 10 or 11 that were loose....or more specifically....I could turn them. A few were maybe 1/4 of a turn, a few more that was maybe a 1/2 turn or a bit less, and the others were somewhere between 1/2 a turn to almost a full turn. Thank you again for the reminder and it obviously was worth the time to torque them correctly.

Well, hang in there....I'm retired, so I've got time....and even better....no specific schedule for getting the stuff done, other than before our trip out west this year. Yes, a bit scary I suppose, especially for a 20K GVWR trailer.

This past August I had the dealer shop replace both dump valves (under warranty) as it took a person with Atlas' strength to open or close them. On our last stop this past May I was unable to close the gray water valve after it was opened. No issue with the valve this time - the connector rod that is affixed to the frame came loose, and I could not push back on the cable. (Thank goodness it wasn't the black water tank!) I finally crawled under the trailer to tighten the bolts that hold the cable's pass-through the frame. I also tightened the nuts around the black water handle's cable. While under there I noticed the poor re-taping job the dealer shop personnel did. I used the waterproof Gorilla tape to seal up the flap edges after removing the old tape (as much as possible) and cleaning the area with alcohol.

Installed and set up the Winegard gateway router. I *think* everything is working as it's supposed to. I'll find out next trip out, hopefully 4th of July weekend.

Battey (2x6v) install, and EMS install.
If anybody wants that white plastic box (sized for two 6v batteries), let me know. Not worth it to return it to the seller in Canadia.

What was wrong with the box?
I have the same one and it fit perfectly on the existing spot... I did add some steel in the middle section to support it, because it sagged and made the batteries rub together.
I love the round opening on the side, it is perfect for the water filling system inlet.
