Bullet 1700BH Awning Size Question

I own a 2019 Bullet 1700bh which I pull with a 2018 Taco.

One my Bullet I have a 10ft awning that is mounted on the left side of the door(doesn't cover the door which is annoying on rainy trips) but on the 21's the awning does cover the door(same 10ft awning shifted right). Why would Keystone not just put the wider awning on it? Bulk qty of 10fters?Engineering/weight issues? Stud location? I looked at mine and it has the same stud location on the right side of the door just like the 21 models.

I'm thinking about putting a wider awning on but I just don't want the wall to cave :0
