New Reese Goosebox

I splurged. Had my RV shop order and install a new Reese Goosebox. 20,000 GVW and 4,000 pin weight. I'm pushing the pin weight.
Drove it home on I-10 and county roads. Quite an improvement over the PullRite. No more sharp jarring issues. I will fine tune the air pressure in the bag. Gained a lot of bed space.
Any new info I'll post up.

I wanted to go with the Reese Goosebox after reading about the benefits. But eTrailer said no-go on it because my pickup truck is a short bed (2021 Ford F350 SRW short bed).

I wanted to go with a GEN Y but my shop talked me out of it.

I was going to the Gen Y if I couldn't get the clearance I wanted with the Lippert pin box the trailer came with.. They sure made the newer pin boxes a lot shorter and flatter than they were a couple of years ago..

GEN Y had some early problems with their pinbox hitting the sides of the truck bed. They redesigned them pretty quickly.

Since the conversation has kind of moved into talking about the gen y; Has anyone heard/read anything about issues or longevity with those rubber cushions in the head of that thing? I've never liked that idea because they will deteriorate over time. I'm also not aware that Lippert will include them in their warranty??
