New to me GT2400FB
I purchased a 2021 GT2400RD today. The title lists it as a Forrest River not a Keystone. I am in Alabama and this is my third RV. One Airstream Bambi and a Winnebago Mini 22 ft. My wife Kathy and I will be doing to "camping" in Tennessee getting everything set up and outfitted for a trip out west. Looking forward to any help and input on this model and things to carry along the way.
Steve

So is it a Keystone or a Forest River? There is a big difference just like saying you bought a Ford but the title says Chevy. If the title is wrong you really need to get it fixed. I am guessing you didn’t buy it at a dealership? With an incorrect title, it could be stolen, it could be an insurance total/salvage title, it could be a forged title.
For what it’s worth, I know there is a Keystone Passport GT 2400RB (not 2400RD), is that what you have?
Either way, congratulations and enjoy your new RV!

I am assuming the title is listed wrong. It is a Keystone as per the wording on the camper it's self. Someone screwed up the title. I hope it can get corrected without a major problem.

I'd suggest looking for the sticker from the factory and take a photo of it. It may be located on the drivers side toward the front or inside a kitchen cabinet door. The sticker should be readable at 3 to 4 yrs old unless it was damaged. Call Keystone CS and ask them to identify the VIN number.
I know the ship has sailed but if I were purchasing any vehicle (car, RV, boat, snowmobile, etc.) and that info was incorrect, then I'd demand that it be reconciled BEFORE purchasing. Unless it's fixed, you may be in possession of a stolen RV or ???

Welcome from northern MN. Make sure the Vin on the rv matches the title?

Seriously? Check your facts, that would be like saying Ford bought Chevrolet, or the State of West Virginia bought the State of Tennessee. Obviously it didn’t happen, nor would it, nor could it.

I did make an error. Forest River is in communication with Keystone for a buy out.

And seriously, Chevrolet (GM) is mostly owned by China.

Please cite your source for that.
Forest River is a Corporation and Keystone is a Division (of Thor Industries). A Corporation doesn’t negotiate with a Division of a competing Corporation. That happens at a Corporate level. With the Keystone Brand at the top of sales in Thor’s portfolio of brands, your statement is ridiculous at best.

Keystone may be at the top of their brand but it is not top of the line except in cost. It's made by the same people that make the cheaper models. I know because I have one. And yes, corporations do buy corporations.

I think that would need clarification or source. Forest River is owned by Berkshire Hathaway and Keystone is owned by Thor Industries. Neither is going to do anything without the parent company's involvement and I've not seen or heard anything like that.

But it is still either a Forrest River or a Keystone. No cross branding of names.
