Question Fuel Issues

Hi all,

We just purchased a 2023 Fuzion Vapor Lite. At the dealership we were told that the fuel tank was empty, so they couldn't show us the generator or fuel pump working. We put just under 20 gallons in the tank and it overflowed, but that is nowhere near the 30 gallons that we were told it holds.

The fuel gauge is still flashing empty. The generator won't prime. The fuel pump will not work.

I thought maybe there was a valve we were unaware of, but that wouldn't explain the gauge reading empty. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!

If you bought the unit new, I would be taking it back for warranty issues. If you bought it used, I would still ask for it to be fixed. Personally I think the dealership knew it didn’t work and made excuses.

Our 2023 Fuzion 428 had all the same issues I fixed the fuel pump on the generator by replacing it myself with no reimbursement $260. Fuel station had a recall which fixed the 2 gauges mine has 2 30 gallon tanks one for the generator and one for the toys. Read my other post title inspection. A year and 12 + trips to the dealer with to many issues to list

With my generator fuel pump bad I returned to CW and was told they don't work on Onan! Only to be told I had to go to a Cummings/Onan service center after calling 4 they provided numbers for. Never received a return call! I am a certified Caterpillar rebuild tech along with hydraulics. I diagnosed a bad fuel $260+ oem pump I solved the issue but have not received any cost reimbursement, and probably never will only the run around!
