RV Window - Pain!
The slide type windows in my RV were sort of a "pain" to open. I found the surface area small enough to cause minor pain in my fingers when lifting them on the conventional latch/lift. Sometimes the window would slip and crash closed.
I made tabs that snap over the existing tabs that make opening and closing the slide windows easier and "safer".
Take a look and let me know what you think.
thanks

Those are fantastic!
Are you planning to market them? I could use six of them.
Our slide windows are difficult at best to open and this looks like the perfect fix.
Be safe!

I agree! I would also be extremely willing to purchase some. The other thing I hate is the freaking screens. There are two of them that were out on my travel trailer when I bought it and I have never been able to figure out how to get them back in.

OK members...... Just a reminder that advertising on this forum is not permitted and is clearly reflected in the Community Rules. This thread is very near to the point where a violation can occur.
While the product may be something a few members would want to buy, it still "dances around the topic of SPAM". Without a Vendor Account advertising, posting links to commercial sites, private sites that sell a product are not permitted.
So, bottom line, no advertising of this product on the forum will be permitted. If anyone wants a link to where to buy or how to buy these, contact the member by PM. Keep SPAM and requests for selling/buying a product off the forum.
DO NOT POST REQUESTS IN THE OPEN FORUM !!!!!
If this thread continues on its current path, it will be closed and the violators will be banned for violation of forum rules.

So then, you are someone who knows how to create new designs for 3D printers? My son got one some years back, but original design is beyond him -- he finds things to print in online libraries. The design skill is one I wish I had.
Unfortunately, my windows are the ones where the latch tabs are on top. I have to use one finger of each hand to pull the latch in, and the other three jammed inside the top slot to lift. It's truly an epic battle -- I have to rub down all the channels and gaskets with hard paraffin several times a year just to improve the process to "tough." DW absolutely cannot work those windows no matter how I lube them.

These should help!
On the 3d stuff, I started my modifying what I found, then slowly started learning CAD software that allowed me to design my own stuff. I didn't want to learn anything new, but it just happened! lol

I can't imagine how they would attach. The mechanisms don't seem at all compatible.

yes, correct! These don't work with this style of window tab. I will try to find an RV window like this and design a solution.

Please see the photos - you are correct these only work for the tabs mounted in the "inside" of the frame.
