I'm not so sure that a load chart would be "instructions". When I was inquiring about the Sailuns I put on this trailer I spoke to the importer (didn't call the Chinese plant because I can't speak Chinese ) and they advised that the manufacturer "had" a generic inflation chart but the maker of the RV would stipulate the tire size, load and pressure - not "instructions" from the tire maker. IIRC (trailer is in the shop at the moment) my placard on the side of the trailer gives tire size, load range and required tire pressure. It doesn't say anything about referring to a load chart to deflate the tires. The many reasons for not doing so have been mentioned.

Thanks again for all the information
The Goodyear chart is great.
It's not about to much or to little Psi.
It's about the contact patch the tire puts down.
To much center patch,
To little outer edge patch
The right pressure tire evenly contact with the road.
That is the best performance you will get.

You are thinking automotive tires. Think trailer tires with much shallower treads.

Tire inflation charts are all about load capacity and the amount of inflation pressure a tire needs to be properly inflated.

Mjsibe, tire wear is seldom the reason for buying new tires. Usually it is a matter of age/time. When those puppies are 3, at the most 4 years old, hit the tire store. I'm just telling you...

Tires are always a big issue. Underinflation, overloading, speed and heat with excessive speed kills our tires.
Many complain about the “China Bombs” and will change tires with a higher load range and still overload the RV and tow/drive faster than the tires are rated for.

Over the 40 plus years I have owned RVs I have lost two tires. Just two. One due to a curb strike the other due to a valve stem failure.

Respect the tires by proper inflation, stay within load limits and keep the speed to the design of the tire.
