Alaska

Hi from the new guy in Alaska. We are picking up our first toy hauler on Saturday. It is a 30' Raptor 2007 bumper pull with the typical bells and whistles. It will carry my wife's 2013 Razor 570 LE and our bikes. I retired last year and my wonderful wife and me and Otto the mini Schnauzer are looking forward to a multiple state trip this fall. I have much to learn and will be asking many questions in the near future.

My Parents would take 2 months and head up to Alaska right after they retired in a little 24' Fth wheeler. They loved it.

to the forum from TX and congrats on the new trailer. Hope you have a great time. We've wanted to get to Alaska for years and one day we're going to make it. BTW, you're going to love retirement - best job I've ever had!

AKGuy to the forum and retirement.

Being an Alaskan, you probably already know about The Milepost, a great resource for driving within AK and the AK Hwy. I think the fall, when the leaves are changing color, is the best time to drive the Hwy. You should have a great trip and hotels/motels won't be a problem, either.
