Will the grey water flow freely through the pump or must the pump run to discharge the grey as well?

on mine the pump must run to discharge anything, black or grey. No big deal, only take a few minutes to dump my 64 gallons of grey.

X2 ..... helps clean it and the hose so not a problem.

I guess I should have figured this out for myself when I turned it on and water came out of it the very first time straight out of the box.
