21 Alpine 3700FL Outside Storage Doors

Been having a problem with a couple of the outside storage doors that open to the side (not up) on my Alpine 3700 FL. If I don't hold them when opening (and sometimes even when I do) they slide down and off. Been a real pain to get them slide on onto the ridge. Have tightened those terribly small screws but only helps for a few opening. Don't know if I need to drill a couple new ones or if I put them in too deep they will bind up. Any suggestions?
thanks

My Alpine is older than yours but the baggage doors and cargo doors should be the same

My image.

Arrow posts to rubber hinge keeper on top side of hinge mand there is also one on the bottom side of the hinge..if this is not in place then the screw will do pretty much nothing

Yes but sometimes they are hard to find..

The part is called a 3/4 inch radius hinge plug.. Colors usually white or black..

You could probably use a piece of round plastic or rubber stock and work it up into each end of the hinges and secure with small screw.. if the screw is not installed they will fall out..
