TV Tire Recommendations

My tow vehicle is a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax. Original tires are Bridgestone Duravis 265/70R 17 E. These tires have not lasted as well as expected. Only 35,000 miles on these tires and need replaced before my next trip. Is this normal when towing a 12,000 pound 5er for approximately 20,000 of those miles? What are your experiences or opinions on E rated tires? Need to make a decision by weeks end. Thanks everyone.

Mike
