Residence Slidouts

Does anyone own a Residence Destination that can tell me if their driver side slideout is raised completely off the floor? We just took delivery last Saturday of our 2017 Residence 401RLTS. We bought online without seeing first (our mistake). We had toured the sister Retreat with same floor model and the floor was flat, we assumed the Residence would be the same. The floor is so raised off the floor, you can put your hand completely under the slide and your foot stumps over it each time approaching stove, counter, refrigerator. Sent pictures to Keystone customer service who says it is "build as designed". If this is the case, why would the countertops be unlevel and the refrigerator lean backwards. Just interested in knowing if other Residence owners have the same issues. The opposite slide drops down when retracting and is almost flush, just a slight raise.
