New Owner from AZ

Hey everyone, we just picked up a 2014 Springdale 267bhse and will be taking it up north in the AZ mountains to get out of this heat next weekend. Cant wait!

We upgraded from an older 22' KZ Hybrid trailer, this thing is like a mansion in comparison, and the old Cummins pulls it with ease. They threw in a Husky WD hitch with a sway bar on the passenger side. Never had a WD hitch but the 2 hour tow home from Tucson to Phoenix was a breeze. Well see how she does up the big grades going up to Flagstaff.

Welcome from Oregon where it's usually cool! I'm sure you'll enjoy your new mansion

We were pulling an Rpod 177 with our Jeep Liberty up that giant hill to Flagstaff and overheated. It was the reason we traded in our tow vehicle for the Durango.

Thanks everyone! Our first trip went very well. We decided on a whim to go to the grand canyon since its only about an hour away form Flagstaff. We had never been there before so it was very exciting.

I hear you, koko. Even our built dodge diesel had some trouble keeping the engine temp down up some of those grades. I had to really drive it by the exhaust temp gauge which limited my speed to around 55 in some places but I was ok with it.
