Thought I'd say hello.

Last week we sold our first camper and bought a 01 Montana. It needs quite a bit of repair, but I needed a project for rainy days. It was a storm damaged camper so not only do I have some body work to do but 3 windows are broken and the main slide floor is in serious need of replacement. Hope to have it usable by the end of next week!

Before I start posting pictures, would someone let me know this forums accepted method.

Dr Dean. Welcome to the forum. It sounds as if you have taken on a considerable task. If you go to our "Forum Technical Support" section there is a thread about the different methods of posting photos. You can also start an album in our community section and link to that as you report your progress. Good luck, Hank

Well it just keeps on raining here so I can't go cut hay. Good thing I bought a project for myself. So far we have gotten all of the interior electrical system straightened out, I'm still surprised we had a dozen burned out bulbs. We have cleaned all the carpets. I have the main slide ready to drop the floor out. The new plywood is cut. I cut a scarf joint tonight to join the 2 4X8 foot pieces into one, after it is glued tomorrow I will cut it to finished size. The carpet has been taken out of the slide and power washed, it was really bad, now it will probably make the rest of the carpet look bad. After I removed the slide carpet I found someone had made a poor scab patch on the floor, no wonder it was so soft out there. I'm going to start a repair thread on this rig in the hopes that I may be able to help others out in the future.
