Camping Stickers

Hi all!
We purchased a new Keystone within the last year. Camping this weekend with friends, we saw a Class A in which the owners had placed stickers on their slideout.

We thought this was a great idea, as it protected the stickers from sun damage, etc., and keeps a fun record of where you've camped/been.

The issue that came up is this....Do you place stickers as the person who camped, or as the vehicle that camped? We've camped in other places with our old truck camper but not with the new trailer...does it qualify if we put a sticker on the trailer (but had camped in with the truck camper) because, as a person, we camped there? Or do we only put stickers on where the new trailer has camped?

The second issue is...do you just put 1 sticker on, even though you've camped at the same place multiple times or a sticker for each time? Do you put dates beneath the sticker you camped or hash marks for the number of times?

What do you do?

Its your camper, you set the rules. We have a map that lists states we've camped in in 3 different campers.

One problem I see in doing what the guy did in the photo would be getting replacement stickers for places you've visited if you replace you camper.

That is a great idea. I have always put them on the bumper and love having them to remind me of some of the fun but they never last long. I am adopting this for my TT.

Wonder if the "wiper seal" tends to damage the stickers?
What if the stickers damage the seals?
Just wonderin'

Oh, I don't think it would cause any problems for the wiper seals as long as the stickers were applied well. I agree with you that, if anything, the wipers might damage the stickers by scratching or peeling them off. As long as the stickers are waxed once placed (and not situated where the wipers lays, either in or out) and the wipers are clean and supple, I think they'd both get along fine. If a sticker begins to peel off, then of course you have to take action.

We have one map for where we camped when motorcycling.
Another where we've camped with ANY TT we've owned.

Fun is finding pretty colored maps! Only place I know is, assuming he is still selling them, is;

Signs of Life, Inc
168 Stanley Circle
Estes Park, Colorado 80517
