AC vents

I have a Keystone Alpine with a 15,000 BTU AC/heat pump (Dometic Brisk Air II). The AC unit is brand new. I am plugged into good power at home. The unit runs awesome for 3-3-5 hours then shuts off. Occasionally I see the hour glass on the thermostat. My front unit (Penguin) never does this. It runs all the time with no issued. One thing I have noticed is that there are 4 round A/C vents on my back unit (in the kitchen/living room) and only one of the 4 blows good and hard, the other 3 blow cold air, but little volume. Any advice?

Welcome to the forum

First question, are you plugged into 50 amp service? Your airflow issue may be caused by blockage, or maybe poorly sealed ducts. You can take the outlets off and look at the ducting.

I know I have good 50A power, the surge protector has a digital display and shows 50A. I also know that when I replaced the AC unit on top that there did not seem to be anywhere to put the wiring, there is a cluster of wiring in the return air. I will pull the vents off and see if I can locate any blockage. Seems kinda strange that 3 of the 4 are not blowing well. I just wonder if that has anything to do with the unit shutting down when it does.

Surge protected or an EMS that can display line voltage? Is the poor flow on one side? You might want to remove the ceiling assembly and verify the center divider is in place with no air leaks and the venting on the sides of the output are sealed.
