Yellowstone

Just got back from a nine day trip to Yellowstone. We stayed at Fishing Bridge, which wasn't too bad even though they cram you in. Just out of curiosity, we looked in at the Mammoth campground and Bridge Bay campground. Both were terrible. Bridge Bay is an open field with sites shoved together. Mammoth had the main road wrapped around it so it was noisy. Neither has hookups, Glad we stayed at Fishing Bridge.

Yellowstone is a wonder. Was crowded but not nearly what it will be in July and August. The rangers told us that the day of the solar eclipse, August 21, will be so crowded, it will be unbearable. The area is scheduled for a 99% eclipse.
