Eternabond Tape Install

I was checking the main caulking seal where the roof and front cap join and saw a couple of areas that needed attention. I decided to install 4" Eternabond tape over the entire joint. That way, it's done once and will never leak. It was an easy task, just make sure you clean the area to get a good bond. (I used acetone) . To bad the tape doesn't come in the tan color of the roof.

Have used it for minor roof repairs.
https://www.eternabond.com/RoofSeal-p/cr-rs.htm

Comes in white, gray, black and tan.

You could paint it - found this info.
I have painted four small strips that cover the seam between the front and rear caps and the roof on my MH. Before doing it I called the company and talked with them about it. They said that I could paint it, but it probably wouldn't last due to the slickness of the eternabond surface. They suggested I rough up the surface a bit with sandpaper before painting.
I gave it a try and the paint has adhered well enough that I have not had to do anything else with it in nearly two years. I did not roughen the surface as suggested. I'm careful to not expose the painted surface to any high pressure water or abrasive substances.

I bought a large roll of white about 5 years ago. I didn't know it came in tan. Oh well, I can't see it from the ground.
