So who's on the road?

I'm in Salmon Arm BC and just setting up. I'm here to check out the Wood-Mizer shop and see what's new as I'm thinking about buying another one.
So where is everyone on the road heading to?

Steve, we just now put in the load of dirty dishes from last night's dinner and all the little trays from the RV 'fridge to wash up in the dishwasher so we can get out of here at about ten or so this morning. DW has a dental cleaning at 8:00 and then I cut off the water, put the C-5 on trickle charge, lock the doors and let the neighbors kiss my grits goodbye.
We are headed to middle Illinois to visit friends for a couple days and then on to northern Wisconsin for two months.
Ah, yes, I've said it before: Retirement IS what it's cracked up to be!

Going to Kimberley Campground on the St. Mary's river for 4 days. Only 1 1/2 hrs away just to make sure everything is working as it should. First outing before month long trip to eastern Canada in a couple of weeks.

Not yet, and given the spring we've had I'm glad I'm waiting.

Steve, is there flooding up in Salmon Arm?

James Island County Park, Charleston SC month of May! Visit son, DIL & 7 yr. old grand daughter.
10+ trips/year, short stay with the kids, 7 days in the RV Park. We like our space, and want to be always welcome. They want to build a pool house for us......we just smile XOXO. Great kids!

We book RV Park 1 yr in advance to get site we like, then back to Tavares, FL, our lake home on Lake Eustis, (central FL).
Charleston has few RV parks, and constant flow of RVers. They frequently are full, especially if you want 30 days or more in same space.

We will be staying at North Fork RV resort. We are not members but they open it to Good Sams and others a week out. Have not stayed there since I was a kid in the 70s. It wasn't a private resort then. We wanted to stay at a small place called Poe's South Fork CG but they didn't have a spot that would take my 32' TT.

Near the John Day Fossil Beds in the heart of Oregon, headed up for 8 days at Wallowa Lake. Unseasonably cold weather, with snow the last two nights, brrrr, and some tricky, icy passes for towing. The front supposedly blows through tonight and it starts warming back up to where it should be.

Coming through Central Oregon it was as green as I have ever seen, with all the streams and reservoirs at or above full.

Currently at Clyde Holliday and the John Day River (really more of a creek) is lapping at the edges of the camp site, a good two feet above where it should be.

Good man! That's what I like to hear as so many people retire, hit the armchair and they die within a few yrs.
The only thing that I miss about working is that I had less to do!

That sounds like a nice trip. I've been to Kimberley a few times for business trips but I've never camped there before.

In short yes and no. I haven't driven around much as I pretty much got here but I checked a website last night and it says that it is but that was dated May 6th. The other site said that the lakes are on the decline.

Heading out tomorrow morning for a week long stay at the Watkins Glen KOA in the finger lakes region of NY with our new Laredo 325RL. Made this same trip last year and had a great time and looking forward to another great week.
