wd40

I see WD40 offers a water proof silicone spray. Says it is safe on cables, metal, vinyl, rubber and such. Would that be something to spray on the slide seal rubber? They also make a dry lube. Good for the larger rack and pinion slide?

Slide seal rubber

Thousand Trails magazine has a tech topic subject stating that white seals should be lubricated as required by the manufacture. They go on to say black seals usually include integrated UV-ray inhibitor and usually should not be lubricated and if applied some lubricants could degrade the UV coating.I am not familiar with the issues stated ,but seems to require looking in to.
