husky brute 4500

I know I was quite surprised how powerful and how HIGH it would lift. I was able to move up another link in the chain.

Husky Brute 4500R

I was given a Husky Brute 4500R as a Christmas gift last year. On a trip to Door County, Wi. I was in a hurry to pack up and get going. It was cold and raining and in my haste I forgot to raise the tongue jack, and this was only the 2nd time I got to use it . I bent the strut so I could neither raise or lower it anymore, and had to use a sawzall to cut it off in order to get home. Entirely my fault.

I contacted Husky customer service to see if I could order a new lower unit at my expense. The woman in the warranty department listened to my story and said that even though it's not covered by warranty they would make an exception in my case and replace the jack. I had to destroy the head of the damaged jack and send her a picture of it. My new jack arrived a few days later. Not only is the jack awesome, but customer service is as well.

I just replaced my manual jack with a Barker VIP3500. Installs easy, although you may need to lengthen the battery wire. Works well, faster than I expected. Check Amazon warehouse deals for a price break, mine had 1% cosmetic damage (which I cannot even find!) but was discounted 10%.
