ITHACA Recommendation?

We are considering a 4 day weekend to Ithaca for leaf colors. Good idea? Any CG recommendations?

I would recommend Treman State Park. Stay away from Spruce Row Campground.

Agree with Robert Treman Park as we were there last year. Upper sites with electrical are on gravel. We had # 6 which was a good location. Hiking trail is excellent with waterfalls. We will return in future. Your State Park pass gets you into the other fine state parks for hiking in the area.

We stayed at Pine Creek CG just maybe a mile or do above Treman State Park. Nice CG. Close enough to Ithaca but just far enough away. Was convenient location. Saw a tremendous number of stars at night there.

Enjoyed Buttermilk State Park also.

Not a long drive to the lakes. .Cayuga and Seneca. Had dinner in Watkins Glen one night....not too far at all.
