Question For You Smart Folks

I've got a Trac vision mounted on my roof that automatically seeks and finds the strongest satillite and it works just fine. We love it in the living area. We also have a TV in the bedroom. I understand that when you are dialed in to the satellite in the living room that you can only watch those TV channels that the particular satellite supports. I've got that. But here is my problem. We loose the picture in the bedroom just outta the blue, sudden and frequently. It can happen when no-one is watching TV on the living room...ie, no one is changing channels on either TV. Bizarre. It has been like this since I purchased it, I had other issues to deal within the trailer and I'm just now getting to this problem. Ideas?

Digital TV's require a certain strength signal to process the video/audio signal. In older TV's the signal just got fuzzy, but in digital TV's If the signal is not strong enough, the TV will change to a "blue screen" or blank out and post a "no signal" or "signal lost" message. I'd think the problem you have is that somewhere between the splitter where your co-ax feeds the LR tv and the BR tv there is a loose connection or a bad cable end crimp. Check the wiring from that first splitter and make sure all the connections are tight. You're losing signal strength somewhere and it's probably in a connection rather than in the actual co-ax cable.
