Fuse box red light with a good fuse

We have a 2020 keystone outback My husband went to change out the CO alarm as it was going off all the time. As soon as he cut the wires we lost power to part of the RV. Only light and only some of the lights that are on that fuse circuit

In the fuse box the red light is on but the fuse itself is good and replacing with a new one didn't change anything. When we remove the fuse some light stop working. We then spliced the original co detector back together and it has no power either.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Update: my hubby didn't shut off the power when cutting the co detector wires. We have narrowed it down to kitchen light switch the trips the red light in the fuse box. Perhaps this creates the short

Bob, it might be a good idea to disconnect the battery since the alarm is hard wired to it.
