Was wondering how hard it is to replace the roof on a slide out, when I did my annual spring inspection everything seemed good but it must have not been, went camping this weekend and noticed what seemed like water stain on our window blind and sure enough it was. Once I got home I set up my ladder and low and behold the screws along the front fascia was poking thru the roof membrane so I want to fix it right. I am a carpenter by trade so I have experience but haven’t worked on a camper roof before, any info is appreciated. Camper is a 2017 Avalanche 300re.

Youtube is your friend. Try searching on youtube for "replacing rv slide out roof". A number of videos will give you an idea of what must be done.
I used self-leveling Daycor on the screws near the facial. The screws were starting to pop up through the rubber. That is preventive and should be checked occasionally. I use EPDM dicor self level sealant , if there is no wood damage or paper sagging I would cover it up if all possible.

I would simply remove the screws and either insert toothpick and screw ..if a few still won’t tighten then use a larger screw.l
Clean the area off and apply a four inch wide strip of eternabond tape and it’s a permanent repair
Do not use any Dicor sealant on the top of the slide out membrane.. all you will do is make a big mess as the wiper seals run back and forth over the sealant

If I could see the area the OP is talking about a better answer could be offered
Had to guess.. if it’s the outer edge seam where the screws go in and there is a four inch tape seal putting any sealant in that area will make a mess and won’t seal anything ..
Thanks for the replies, so as of now I have taken out and replaced the screws that hold the fascia on with longer screws and waiting on the eternabond tape to get here to seal the screw heads.

You are making the proper and permanent repair.. Don't forget when you go to lay that Eternabond tape out it will stick almost instantly.. If working a large length roll out a couple of feet at a time and remove the backing and set the tape in place... then keep working it in small sections..
Once you have it all in place then you MUST roll something over the tape while applying pressure to activate the adhesive... A bakers roller worked good for me.. wifes small 6 inch one...
Chucks as you can see with my experience there was no mess. Having it in a pole barn with slides out . Dicor had plenty of time to dry.

Nice repair.. I’d be curious to see how the Dicor looks at the edge of the slide roof where it curves over and runs to the trim strip
I tried a small section on my Alpine in the area shown in my picture.l I left it sit open for five days and the Dicor was still too soft .. 100 degree weather
I used self leveling when I tried it .. when I retracted the slide and extended it the wiper seal smeared some of the sealant
Maybe Proflex might have been a better choice for my application .. at the time I was using Dicor products and have switched to proflex and Alpha self leveling over the last couple of years.l
Either repair ( yours looks great ) will do the job and is a much neglected area by RV owners until it’s too late..leaks have already occurred
My slides are hydrauilc ( all 3 ) and the wiper seals are all stout clip on seals that really apply a good amount of pressure against the TPO membrane
Maybe in my case with the type of wiper seal I use and the tight pressure these seals place on the TPO membrane that contributed to my attempt at sealant nit working well in my application
I will say that after removing each screw 5 years ago and using toothpicks and glue on some and slightly larger screw in others and applying new Eternabond tape I’ve had no further issues
The sealant is your image looks like it’s holding up good as well..
I have enclosed a few pics of the repair on my daughters slide roof. They depend a lot on the Eternabond tape to seal the screws & aluminum angle. I use it in conjunction with the self leveling. I would recommend making it part of your visual maintenance program, as Eternabond doesn't resist UV for a long period of time. I have done several reroofs on trailers & I have always used the Dicor adhesive, but the manufacturer of the slide for this trailer used "contact cement".
