Most members don’t recommend using grease zerks or other types of lube systems as you can’t inspect the bearings, brakes or drums, and you risk pushing grease past the rear seal contaminating the linings.

It’s best to remove the drums and visually inspect, repack the bearings and replace the seal with a double lip seal, Once a year is good.

Bearings ect

looks like trip to tire shop. although on my popup I had bearing buddies for 8 years. I loaded them often. The excess comes out relief valve. Them wipe off. But never did see the bearings . Good advice. I have no idea about my bearings so tire shop will hook me up

Your pop up may not have had brakes, depending on the weight.

I think your right. Got a buyer for it so she is out of RV lot soon. Good little hunting rig. Many trips to Mendocino forest. Got to get tags for this year.

Question.... "If" it's recommended to Hand-Pack the bearing because using the Zerks may cause grease to go beyond the seal, why are you stating to use a Double lip seal if you are only hand packing? Is not a normal seal good enough?

Significantly less likely to fail, no matter how the bearings are packed.
